Bermudian karting driver Scott Barnes maintained his pursuit of silverware at the 2026 ROK Vegas Championship in Nevada, clocking blistering lap times across Heat 3 and the Super Heat. Competing in the ROK Shifter Masters category at the flagship ROK Cup USA showcase, Barnes demonstrated consistent front-running pace across the temporary street-style circuit outside the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. In Heat 3, the Bermudian delivered a composed drive over the 13-lap distance. Dialling into the rhythm of the circuit, Barnes pushed hard during the second half of the contest, recording his fastest lap of the race on lap eight with a sharp time of 46.498 seconds to cap off a solid heat performance. Barnes carried that strong form into the high-stakes ROK Shifter Masters Super Heat. Battling wheel-to-wheel among the leading pack over another 13 laps, he crossed the finish line in fourth place. Underscoring his metronomic consistency, Barnes once again extracted his peak speed on the eighth lap, shaving off fractions to register a weekend-best 46.492 seconds. The fourth-place finish in the Super Heat solidifies Barnes' position near the sharp end of the grid as he turns his sights to Super Sunday's championship main event.
