Christopher Named FH Hafnarfjörður’s Top Goalscorer

Bermuda international Nia Christopher capped off a remarkable debut campaign in Iceland after being awarded the club's Leading Women’s Goalscorer trophy at FH Hafnarfjörður’s end-of-season awards ceremony. The 25-year-old forward enjoyed a prolific individual season, leading the line with authority to finish as the club’s outright top marksman with a team-high 17 goals across all competitions. Christopher proved an instant hit in Icelandic football following her move from the US collegiate system, adapting seamlessly to the physical and tactical demands of the Besta deild kvenna and domestic cup fixtures. Her sharp movement in the final third, aerial threat, and clinical finishing made her an indispensable focal point in Hafnarfjörður's attack, consistently turning tight encounters in FH’s favour. Receiving the accolade in front of teammates, coaches, and club officials, Christopher's 17-goal haul cements her status as one of Bermuda’s leading overseas footballing exports as she continues to shine on the European professional stage.
